Kate Atherley - Brioche Knitting

Saturday 4th March - 10am to 1pm - Purlescence HQ - £40

Kate Atherley, Designer, tech editor, tutor and expert knitter is bring her talent to Purlescence for three of her fabulous workshops.

This half day course introduces the Brioche Knitting technique and is sure to be a great deal of fun

Brioche knitting uses a simple and clever technique to create beautiful fabrics – deep ribs and fascinating colourwork. It’s particularly effectively in two-colours, and surprisingly easier to work that way! This class covers the skills for working brioche patterns, including reading the sometimes-complicated instructions, and fixing mistakes.

You need to be confident with knit and purl, and working in the round.
