Sunday 20th May, 10am to 1pm at Purlescence HQ, Newbury

Swedish born Åsa Tricosa, passionate knitter, designer and sour dough starter owner, is bringing her amazing expertise to Purlescence on the 20th May.

This half day workshop is a class for knitters who want to explore Åsa's signature Ziggurat knitting method.

In this class we will be exploring:

The Ziggurat Flap Pocket

  • Setting up
  • Attaching
  • Closing

Integrated Lined Hems

  • Picking up stitches for lined hems (& cuffs)
  • Hem worked flat (split hem) – how to handle the edge for double-knitted hems

And if that's not all, Åsa will also give a demonstration of the No-Hole Armhole technique.

This workshop is the ideal companion to the new book Åsa Tricosa Ziggurats: 16 Elegantly Seamless Knits

In the afternoon you can join us for the launch party for Åsa's new book. You can find more about that here
