Saturday 10th March 1:30pm to 4pm at Purlescence HQ, Newbury

Kate Atherley, Designer, tech editor, tutor and expert knitter is bring her expertise to Purlescence for three of her workshops.

Closure: Dealing with Buttons and Zips

We begin with a discussion of buttonholes: what's the best method to make them, how to keep them neat and tidy. Then once you've got the holes, we talk about how to attach the buttons to make sure they stay on and don't get loose.

And then, of course, if you don't want buttons, zippers are an option. We'll talk about how to insert a zipper into knits.

This is guaranteed to be a great afternoon in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
