Kate Atherley, Designer, tech editor, tutor and expert knitter is bring her expertise to Purlescence for three of her workshops.

Brioche Knitting - Saturday 4th March 10am to 1pm - £40

Brioche knitting uses a simple and clever technique to create beautiful fabrics – deep ribs and fascinating colourwork. It’s particularly effectively in two-colours, and surprisingly easier to work that way! This class covers the skills for working brioche patterns

For knitters with a little bit of experience with Brioche knitting, this class will get you started on more complex patterns, starting with Kate’s “Omnishambles” patterned brioche scarf. The session focuses on building skills and confidence with the technique.
