Vinni’s Colours
Vinni’s yarns are perhaps South Africa’s best-kept knitting secret. I’ve long been a fan of her incredible colours, all applied to fabulously soft cotton and bamboo. Though the shades are solid rather than variegated, you’ll notice they have that unique depth and liveliness that only comes from hand dyeing. Also good to know: the yarn is hand-dyed and balled by women in an economically deprived region, providing much-needed employment and empowerment.
