I admit, I’m a sucker for bamboo yarn. I adore the silky touch and rich lustre. And this is my very favourite of all bamboos, glowing as it does with Vinni’s spectacular colours; it’s irresistible in person and always goes so fast at shows. I recommend choosing this yarn for a multi-colour project such as the famous Babette blanket - combining shades will show off the richness perfectly. (Bamboo’s fantastic drape makes it a perfect choice for crochet.) Sample shows a baby hat, lovingly knitted for my own Claudia by Vinni herself!

Vinni’s yarns have the feel-good factor too, as they bring much-needed employment and empowerment to women in an economically deprived area of South Africa.
