How to enter
Sketch your design and tell us the story behind it. Be playful! There are no limitations on what kind of project you might design, what yarn you choose to work with, or the number of entries you can submit. You are free to present your design in any way you think best conveys the project's look and feel, including using swatches, photographs, collage... but none of that is compulsory.
You also don't have to be able to work up a complete pattern to enter the monthly competition, although the Grand Prize is only open to those whose patterns are published.
- A visual representation of the design
- Your story of how the character came to knit this project (this can be just a few sentences)
- Details of your project's needle and yarn requirements; and
- Your name, email and physical address, and phone number*.
Entries are welcome from crafters anywhere in the world.
All winning entries will be posted online, and we may publish honourable mentions too. Please state if you do NOT want your entry published, should it receive an honourable mention, and if you do NOT want to be invited to work up a pattern.

Snow White's knit or crochet designs must be submitted by 15 December 2006. Winning entries will be posted here in January and those invited to publish their pattern will have until February to do the maths.
