THE WINNERS OF
What would Snow White knit?

As before there was quite a range of ideas on display for Snow White, with some focusing on the dwarfs and some on the maiden herself. We chose two winners whose wit and creativity were equally enjoyable!

Winner: Snow White's Runaway Hobby
By Temperance Blackthorne

Temperance imagined Snow White's well-intentioned knitting being received with less than equal enthusiasm from the dwarfs. Sounds familiar, doesn't it? While this was submitted as three separate entries (and each can be read alone), we felt that the mini-trilogy worked best together, and so we have it here.

Winner: Snow White's Hissy Fit
By Catherine Procter

In this story, too, a personality clash took centre stage. I loved the wilfulness of the heroine, and the elegance of her coat. Beautifully written, Catherine!

Honourable mention: Snow White's Practical Streak
by Karen Holdup

Watch the blog for this one: a thoroughly pragmatic and thoroughly in character design. Very cute.
